be.UP Park / Pinelands

Another great play park where kids of all ages can explore, jump and climb in a safe and fun environment. At be.UP Park, climbing and jumping are THE main attractions. You will find a dedicated trampoline zone for kids taller than 120cm and 11 Clip ’n Climb walls that are suitable for kids of all ages and skill levels. Just keep in mind that the minimum age is 3 years. The little ones can explore and discover the maze area, but only the “taller” kids will be allowed into the other fun play areas. The minimum height for them is 120cm.

You can book your tickets online and already complete the required waiver form. This will save you time on your arrival and make sure there is space for you and your kiddies. You can fill out the waiver form here: WAIVER

Attention: You cannot use just any grip socks, you will have to buy the “special” be.UP Park grip socks. They cost R30 per pair and are a legal requirement. Since they are a cash free environment, you will only be able to pay at the facility with a credit or debit card or Snapscan.

Trampoline Zone

At the massive trampoline zone, the kids can practice new tricks and jump like there’s no tomorrow. The interconnected horizontal and inclined trampolines allow them to experience the thrill and freedom to jump, turn, twist and flip and they surely will absolutely love it.

The trampolines are surrounded by soft walls of varying heights so that the children can play around and try out new jumps all the time. There are also two performance trampolines for the more experienced jumpers which offer a little more bounce and challenge.

Instead of a foam pit, they installed a massive air Big-Bag which even makes falling fun and exciting. It provides a soft and safe landing space for the crazy jumpers.

Clip ‘n Climb Walls

At the park, you will find 11 different walls with various difficulty levels. Each of them is up to 8 metres high and you can test your skills at each and everyone of them. From colourful tower blocks, a bulls eye climb to more classical climbing walls – be.UP Park has got them all and the kids can safely explore the heights in a safe harness and clip ‘n climb auto belay system. That means, that you don’t need a second person to watch your safety from the bottom, but you can simply hook up and the system will ensure a safe way down in case you slip off from a wall.

AltiGame

Of course, a highline course is a Must-Have these days and be.UP caters for this need with an amazing net cage 5 metres above the ground. The kids will be provided with a helmet for some extra safety before they start the adventure: they are going through barrels, walking on planks, cubes and even riding a skateboard attached to a wire!

Kid’s Maze

The kid’s maze is suitable for the little ones who don’t quite reach the minimum height of 120cm yet. They can explore a huge and multi-level maze while the older siblings enjoy the more sophisticated activities. The soft and colourful maze allows for safe playing while the youngsters explore the territory. There are slides, lots of fun obstacles and hidden areas to discover. You can sit back and relax and watch the children play while enjoying something to eat or drink from the Cafe. The childminders on site will make sure your little ones are safe at all times!

be.UP Cafe

The Cafe serves a variety of hot and cool drinks and also selected light meals for the little cravings in between. Among a lot of sweet treats, they serve toasted sandwiches, fresh pies, paninis and some quick bites. You can check out their menu here: MENU

Rates

Prices start from R105 per hour for kids starting at the age of 3 and under 120cm. Taller children pay R145 for the first hour and a cheaper rate for the following hour. They also have Climbing Tickets for R95 per hour, student rates and special group discounts.

Kiddies Birthday Parties

Arrange a fabulous birthday party at be.UP Park for kids turning 3 years or older. If you have a minimum of 10 party guests (maximum 24), you can start planning a fun day at this amazing play park. Their party packages cater for kids of different ages as not all activities are suitable for the little ones. So children below the 120cm mark can only book the be.Junior Party Package while the older kiddies can have a proper “grown-up” party.

• The be.Junior Party is suitable for kids over 3 years old. It is recommended for kids up to 6/7 years old (below 120 cm in height).

Our Experience

Both our kids are still under 120cm, so we never had the pleasure to try their trampoline zone and climbing area. They did explore the Kid’s Maze though and didn’t want to leave the place. So there is plenty to discover even for the little ones, but it obviously makes more sense to visit this place when you can get the full experience. We attended a kiddies birthday party there and it was a great success. The food platters were delicious, the kids were happy with their party boxes and really enjoyed their play time. We will certainly come back when our kids have grown a little.
