The Blue Train Park / Mouille Point

This is an iconic little park in the heart of the city with beautiful mountain and ocean views. It has been in operation for more than 60 years and is still a favourite spot for kids and parents alike. The highlight is the famous “Old Lady” Mini Blue Train that circles the entire play area and you’ll get a good idea of the size and attractions that the park has to offer.

On approx. 10,000 square metres, you’ll find a Mini-Skate park including a 6m half pipe, dirt bike track, cement push bike track, Pedal Push Carts, a 30m zip-line, 2x 8m long slides, see-saws, a climbing rock, two Jungle gyms, obstacle course, an astro turf soccer pitch and a bunch of other wonderful play features.

In case you and the kids are craving some refreshments, there is a small kiosk right at the front entrance which serves a selection of ice creams, chips, cold drinks, sweets & other yummy treats.

Kiddies Birthday Parties

You can book a birthday party (or any other kind of party) at three different time slots during opening hours.

  • Slot 3: 15:00 – 17:00

All party bookings include a dedicated seating zone within the park with tables, chairs and umbrellas included. You have a choice to be seated at the Big Gym, Small Gym, Rocklands, Bike Track or at the Soccer Pitch. The area of your choice will be set up for you before you arrive. Children are allowed to play anywhere in the park except in reserved seating areas and booked jumping castles. You may bring your own food, drinks, decorations and cake. Just keep in mind that no alcohol & cooking of any sorts is permitted on the premises.

Our Experience

Our kids love the Blue Train Park. Best thing, of course, is the ride on the Blue Train itself. So before we can enter the actual play area, they want to take their train ride first. We usually purchase the ticket with the 2 rides per person because once simply isn’t enough. Best part of the train ride is the tunnel I guess. In the park itself, they can completely run wild and enjoy the different play areas. Our son is hooked on the zip line and spends hours going back and forth there. The little one always takes her bike with as she can practice her skills on the little bike track. It’s a fantastic way to spend an afternoon on a sunny day and the ticket prices are very fair. So definitely worth a visit!
