Get Creative While You Eat

At Clay Café Paarl, everyone gets to be an artist. You start by choosing a ceramic item (like a mug, bowl, or plate), pick your favourite colours, and then start painting. Once you’re done, they glaze and fire your piece in their kiln. A few weeks later, you can collect your finished item. It’s a fun activity for both kids and adults!

You can choose from a wide variety of ceramic items between R55 – R400. On top of that, you’ll have to pay a studio fee of R45 per person which covers the use of all tools, 3 paints and the firing and glazing process.

While you’re busy painting, you can also enjoy something from their food menu. The café serves delicious meals made with fresh, local ingredients. There are also vegetarian and vegan options available. Whether you want breakfast, lunch or just a snack, there’s something for everyone.
