Have you ever tried 100% plant-based ice cream before? Instead of normal cow milk, they use oat milk to produce the various flavours. And their name doesn’t come from nowhere – if you believe that vegan ice cream doesn’t taste like the original, you’re far off from reality!
They rotate their 30 flavours every two weeks, so it’s kind of a surprise which ones you’ll get once you pay them a visit. But that’s simply another reason to come back in order to try them all. They use all natural ingredients and you will be able to see and feel them in your mouth. They use big chunks of apples, hazelnut, oreos, cherries, you name it! Not everyone likes that, but for those of you who enjoy chunky ingredients, you will absolutely love it.
It is less sweet than “normal” ice cream and a super kid friendly alternative. Although they don’t offer baby scoops, they do half half which means you get to taste 2 flavours for only R40!
They also sell 500ml tubs for you to take home and they have a shelf-life of up to 6 months. Next door (but basically the same shop), you can also get some delicious and fresh waffles as well as hot drinks, milkshakes and cold drinks. They have a super stylish interior where you can sit down, enjoy your sweet snack and even work a bit as they offer free WIFI.

Our Experience
We didn’t know that this is a vegan ice cream parlour at the time of our visit. We picked two flavours in a cup and were absolutely surprised by the taste of it. It wasn’t sweet like other ice cream flavours and it had big chunks of fruit and cookies in it (we had the Oh-so-oreo and Granny Smith’s Pie Flavours). We absolutely loved it. Especially, that we could get 2 flavours at a reasonable price since ice cream scoops are rather expensive in this country. We will definitely come back for a waffle, too!
