The DSK Bazaar is back – bigger, better and with extended hours! Cape Town’s favourite family event with a touch of Oktoberfest!

31 October & 1 November 2025 – Two days of German Bazaar fun!
Once a year, the German International School Cape Town (DSK) transforms into a vibrant hub of authentic German food, beer, unique market stalls, exciting kids activities and festive fun—offering something for everyone: friends, families, and colleagues alike!

Friday, 31 October 2025 | 15:00 – 23:00

We kick off the festivities with an Oktoberfest-themed afternoon and evening. Expect:

• A vibrant, after-work celebration featuring a live German Oktoberfest band
• Delicious favourites like Eisbein, Bratwurst, Weissbier and more (vegetarian & halaal options are available).
• Selected kiddies rides will be open on the sports field from 15:00h to 18:00h.

Saturday, 1 November 2025 | 10:00 – 23:00

Our main family day on Saturday is the highlight of the weekend! Held on the DSK sports field and lower part of the school, this all-day celebration is a community fundraiser with a strong focus on family fun. Expect:

• Live performances by local and German bands throughout the day.
• A headline performance by a Oktoberfest band, our festive band from Germany.
• Prize giveaways, market stalls, tasty treats, and plenty of activities for all ages.

YOUTH PARK

* for teens:

• The popular Pool Disco returns with top local DJs at the outdoor swimming pool!

• Evening open air disco at Amphi-Theatre.
