Jenna @theindulgist chocolatier & owner of @shortandsweetsa will be running a delicious demo, making seasonal sweets using our marshmallow root, sorghum molasses and dried edible flowers. Take home your tasty creations.

CREATIVE CRAFTING
Join crafter/stylist/art director Carin @carinmakes for a unique workshop learning to create beautiful decorative flowers from our corn husks, fall stems and grasses, and natural dyes. Take home your creations.

THE SORGHUM AGENDA 101
Join Zandile @queen_finxa for an insightful introduction to sorghum and a deep delve into the range and versatility that the grain holds. This special grain is a carrier for sustainability and cultural preservation. Learn about why it’s important, its history, stories, and uses. Share in Zandile Finxa’s food story and their connection with this African ancient grain.

WEAVING WORKSHOP
Textile designer & weaver, Sibabalwe @ingyeyo_ will be guiding you through a hands-on weaving workshop. Learn how to set up a frame loom, and begin the wool weaving process with a few different techniques. Explore texture and design with an integration of autumn farm materials like teff stems and corn husks.

TOMATO TASTING
Join owner and head farmer, Iming Lin, in a tasty and informative delve into our tomatoes. Iming will introduce you to our tasting process for next season’s tomato selections and chat through stories and questions on all things tomato
