The Cape’s new family festival brings global food, live music and outdoor play to Franschhoek

Bliss Family Festival, supported by Standard Bank Private, launches at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek on Saturday, 31 October 2026, offering families the feeling of a summer music festival in one easy, full-day format.

Created as a curated festival experience for all ages, Bliss brings together live music, an elevated global-inspired Bliss Market, picnic-style spaces, creative activities and immersive outdoor experiences. The first artist teasers include Jeremy Loops, Arno Carstens and Raaf, with the full final line-up and additional programme details to be announced soon.

Designed for adults first, with children and teens warmly catered for, Bliss takes inspiration from the best parts of a summer festival – music, food, sunshine, movement and togetherness – bringing them into one premium, family-friendly day in the Franschhoek winelands.
