Middelvlei’s Easter Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt

This Easter, families looking for a relaxed winelands escape can head to Middelvlei Wines, in Stellenbosch, where a morning of delicious farm-style food, laughter and Easter festivities promises to delight visitors of all ages.

Taking place on Sunday, 5 April, Middelvlei’s Easter Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt offer a charming Winelands experience that blends the farm’s warm hospitality with a touch of Easter magic.

Set against the rolling vineyards of the Bottelary Hills, the family-owned estate has long been known for its welcoming atmosphere and authentic farm-style experiences.

From 09:30 to 11:30, guests can enjoy a relaxed farm-style brunch, featuring comforting favourites with a playful Easter-inspired twist. The menu includes Egg and Bacon Roosterkoek, alongside indulgent Hot Cross Bun jaffles, creating a delicious blend of traditional Easter flavours and nostalgic farm cooking.

Special menu highlights include:

• Bobotie-style mince and mozzarella cheese Hot Cross Bun jaffle
• Marshmallow Easter egg and hazelnut spread Hot Cross Bun jaffle

While adults savour their brunch over a glass of Middelvlei wine (or Boeretroos coffee), the morning’s festivities will truly come alive for younger visitors. At 10am, children can join a lively Easter egg hunt, followed by the chance to paint their own Easter eggs and even meet a bunny or two. The lucky boy or girl to find the golden egg will win the chance to host their next birthday party at our Barn venue.
