Mix, fizz, bubble, and experiment your way through the Cape Town Science Centre’s Kitchen Chemistry Holiday Programme from 27 June – 20 July 2026.

Kids can enjoy exciting kitchen-based experiments while learning about reactions, mixtures, acids, bases, and more through fun, hands-on activities designed especially for young explorers.

There’s even more to discover this holiday! On selected days, our collaborating partners will bring exciting pop-up exhibits, presentations, live demonstrations, mascots, and hands-on activities to the CTSC. From ocean exploration and wildlife conservation to recycling and environmental action, these bonus experiences are not to be missed!
