Friday Island Restaurant / Langebaan

If you are driving up the West Coast and are looking for a place where beachfront vibes, great food and holiday charm intersect, Friday Island in Langebaan is a great place to visit. It is more than just a restaurant — it’s part of a little beachfront lodge / guesthouse complex right on the lagoon side of Langebaan. The restaurant is their in-house eatery, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The ocean views are spectacular and you’ll have direct access to the lagoon where the kids can play in the sand and cool off their feet on a hot day. The kids will also find a small wooden boat in the garden of the restaurant and outdoor seating area. You will be able to keep an eye on them while you enjoy your meals and drinks.

You’ll find a lot of seafood on the menu as it’s a seaside restaurants, but they also cater for the little ones with a kiddies menu and dish up alternatives in case you’d prefer a meaty dish or salad. You can take a look at the full menu here: MENU
