Halloween is just around the corner and many places make an effort to please the little ones with some spooky events. Where do you trick or treat this year? If you haven’t made up your mind yet, check out the list below for all the scary things coming up very soon:

1. Maynard Trick or Treat (Gardens)
Meet at 16:45 at Maynard Street Park to walk the houses along Maynard and Scott Street for some trick or treat.
Time: 17:00 – 19:00
2. Zombie Walk Cape Town 2022 (CBD)
Get out your scariest costume and roam the streets of Cape Town on the 29th of October at 16:00. The annual event starts at 49 Government Ave, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town and every horror and Halloween enthusiast will be out there to limb and groan through the city for an hour. It’s a fun show eben for the youngsters who can see some creepy real life Zombies on Halloween!
3. Spooktacular Time with Messy Patch (Green Point)
This is for children aged 6 months to 4 years old. They can come dressed up in their best Halloween costume and stand a chance to win a messy sensory box and a gift voucher to the next Messy Patch pop up session. Tickets cost R170 per child and the party takes place on the 29th of October between 11:00 – 12:00 at the Hellenic Club in Green Point.

4. Halloween Trick or Treat at Playstation by Rush
Join Playstation by Rush for some scary fun this Halloween at their trick and treat party on the 28th & 29th of October! They provide the tricks and treats while the little ones can explore the park and finding their favourite treats. Sounds absolutely fabulous and you should make a booking asap in order to secure a spot for your kids! The Halloween event is happening between 17:00 – 22:00 on both days!

5. Halloween Picnic in Van Riebeeck Park
On Monday, 31.October 2022, you can support the beautiful Van Riebeeck Park and pay them a spooky visit in the afternoon. Take the kids out for some Trick or Treat Fun from 17:00 and enjoy live music, food vendors, face painters and much more! It’s R50 for adults, kids enter the park for free! PLUS the best costume wins a prize!
6. Halloween Costume Party at Folk Cafe
Rock up at Folk Cafe in your scariest costume and stand a chance to win fabulous prizes. They add a small extra fee of R20 per person that night, but you can enjoy DJ Ash, good vibes and food plus loads of fun for the whole family.
