The generous inside and outside seating area is perfect for any weather condition and you can pick your favourite spot. Whether you enjoy the views from the huge sliding doors or take a seat under the old trees, you won’t be disappointed.

While you browse through the menu that caters for vegetarians, vegans and children, you are also invited to test some of their beers and learn about their brewing processes. The kids will be entertained as well! The generous play area offers a lot of different apparatus including slides, swings, a sandpit, a climbing wall, swirls and much more! They can choose from the classic wooden jungle gym or play at the more fancy colourful play area. There is plenty of space to run around, too and the free-roaming peacock is an additional highlight.

Dogs are welcome too, but rather keep them on a leash in case they decide to start a little peacock hunt.

Our Experience

We visited Hwy Joe on a super hot day and were happy about the shaded seating area outside and the generous play area right next to it. The kids had a blast exploring the jungle gym and all the apparatus while we enjoyed a cold beer in this peaceful setting. The bonus was the free roaming peacock who was flying over our heads and bringing in some extra fun for the kids. The playground is well maintained, something for all ages and the kids absolutely loved it.
