The Jolly Roger Pirate Boat / Waterfront

Enter the wide open sea with Jack Sparrow and his fellow pirates when you go onboard the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat! This is a one-of-a-kind experience for young and old and surely a trip to remember as this is the only Pirate Boat in South Africa!

The adventure starts at Quay 5 at the V&A Waterfront where the Pirate Boat leaves the harbour four times a day/every day and you can choose between a Morning, Lunchtime, Afternoon or Sunset Cruise.

The first three cruises of the day take about 45 minutes and cost R300 for adults and R200 for children aged 0-12 years. You can buy drinks and refreshments onboard, but make sure to bring along cash as it’s a cash bar only. (Prices from 2024 – please check the website for updated rates).

The sunset cruise takes about 1.5 hours and includes a complementary sparkling wine for the grown ups. You can still get kid friendly refreshments at the Cash Bar as well. The sunset cruise rates are R500 for adults and R300 for kids between the age of 0-12.
