Paarl has a vibrant new hotspot for family entertainment: LEVEL UP Indoor Play Arena. This family-run facility is designed for ages 6 and up, offering an exciting and safe environment for active play. Let’s have a look at the different attractions below.

Small Ninja Course

This is a good way to start your Level Up experience! This little Ninja Course is specifically designed for younger players and you can explore your skills away from the bigger kids. This is also suitable for kids under the age of 6 in case you’re bringing the siblings along to join in on the fun.

Large Ninja Course

If you’re in for a little competition, this one is for you. You can start a timer when entering the course and see you manages the obstacles fastest. The slippery balls inside the course make it even more tricky (and fun) to get through quickly! But it was so much fun to take up the challenge and beat your opponent (or even your own best time).

Zipline

This is not for the faint hearted when you race down the zipline with your friend to find out who reaches the bottom faster. But don’t worry, you are safely buckled up and the friendly staff is always there to make sure you have a safe landing.

Circle Climb

Another activity to master the height! The circle climb is 5.1m high and you can test your courage to find out how high you can get. Once again, you don’t need to fear your life as you are safely harnessed in and a staff member will lower you down slowly once you’ve jumped off the top!

VR Arena

If you’ve never put on a VR gadget before, you will absolutely love the experience. Up to 8 players can dive into the virtual fun together! Choose from lighthearted party games perfect for the whole family — or crank up the adrenaline with intense shootouts and zombie battles (only available for adults and teenagers).

The Floor is Lave 2.0

Bring the classic kiddies game to a new interactive level and jump into a colourful grid game where you need to deactivate the blue lights, avoid red and use the green safe zone to win. This game is definitely fun for the entire family and a little workout session for free.

Extra Games

Besides the main attractions, the kids can also play endless rounds of air hockey, there is a giant “Connect Four” game and there is enough space to also run around and chase each other around in between the action.

The Café

For those you get hungry and thirsty during the play time, there is a small kiosk that serves hot and cold drinks, as well as a cute food menu including toasties, waffles, pancakes and more.

Tickets and Prices

The play park is closed on a Monday. From Tuesday to Thursday, it’s their off-peak play time. On weekends, public holidays and school holidays, you can expect peak prices.

During off-peak times, it’s R100 for 1 hour and R170 for 2 hours.
During peak times, it’s R130 for 1 hour and R230 for 2 hours.

Before entering the park, you must also sign a waiver for all playing parties.

General Play Rules

Play slots are every hour, on the hour.
Spectators enter for free.
Grip socks are compulsory. You can bring your own or buy grip socks for R40 per pair.
You cannot bring in your own food or drinks.
No access to attractions without Arena Staff supervision.
