During school holidays, BreakAway Rides offers their popular kids specific mountain bike workshops. The fun factor is very important during the skills clinics with some specific technique drills in the first half and practical application in single trails during the latter half.
They offer Single Day outings, 3 day workshops or 4 days at different locations in and around Cape Town. It’s suitable for kids aged 5 to 17 years old and sessions take place from 9am to 12pm or 3pm to 5pm.
3 Day Workshops
The 3 day workshops take place from 17 – 19 December 2024 and 07 – 09 January 2025 and focus on skills progression and repetitive practice of tricky features.
There are several date options available, where you can chose to attend one, two or all three days. Each day has a different skills focus and build on each other. Our workshops are held in 4 different areas, with Durbanville and Stellenbosch in the morning, while our sessions in Cape Town and Southern Suburbs are held in the afternoon.
