From October to end of March every year, you can have some fun in the water at the Milnerton Waterpark in Table View. The place features 3 child-friendly main pools, water slides and fun kiddies entertainment on land. Lifeguards are on duty for the safety of the patrons.
Milnerton Water Park Prices 2024/2025
Fun fact: this place grants admission according to height. So it doesn’t matter how old you are. If you’re over 1.30m, you’ll pay the full price while the little ones are still lucky to sneak in at a lower cost. Depending on your height, you either pay an R100 or R70 admission fee. This allows you to use all pools at the park and the normal facilities.
In case you would like to enjoy some of the extra activities on site, you will have to pay a little extra. If you would like to use the Big Yellow slide, you basically pay per ride. 1 Slide is R5, 4x slides are R20 and 50x slides cost you R200 (these can be shared).
They also have a few on land activities such as a playground, 4-wheel pedal bikes, and paddle boats. In case your kids would like to make use of them, they also need to pay an extra R20 per ride and per 10 minutes. They can drive around with the carts at the dedicated race track.
For the adults who will be joining the children, there are quite a few tables with benches available in the seating area. You are also allowed to bring in your own braai grid in case you’re getting hungry for some nicely grilled meat. There are shaded and unshaded picnic and braai spots available.
However, animals, alcohol and music are strictly not allowed on the premises although we experienced some crowds who sneaked alcohol into the waterpark.
It should also be mentioned that the park closes at 5pm already, even during those long summer days. So it’s best to arrive early. Not sure why they don’t extend opening hours in the peak season. Definitely expect long lines in front of the swimming pool on hot, sunny days.
