Monster Jam DHL Stadium / Cape Town

If you and the kids love to watch the Monster Trucks on TV, you’ve now got the chance to see them live and in 3D! On April 22, 2023 Monster Jam revs back into South Africa and you can witness heated rivalries, high-flying stunts and fierce head-to-head battles with this ultimate off-road, motorsport competition!

This is an event for the whole family and you can see all the famous drivers and cars during the show. Their line-up includes the legendary Grave Digger®, 12-time World Champion Max-DTM, mighty Megalodon®, El Toro Loco®, Monster Mutt® Dalmatian and for the first time Earthshaker®.

The official event starts at 18:00, but you can already go to a meet-and-greet beforehand. The pre-show Monster Truck Pit Party already starts at 13:00 and you and the kids get a chance to meet the drivers, collect autographs, take pictures and even see the massive trucks up close and get an inside look into how they’re built. To gain access to the Pit Party you can buy an additional ticket for R150 per person. The Pit Party will be held outdoors around/near to the stadium from 13:00 – 15:30 prior to the main show.

Children under the age of 3 are not allowed to the show as the noise level is quite high and the organisers strongly recommend the wearing of earplugs or earmuffs.

    • Hello Kaylynne,

we recommend to chat to the organisers directly. They are certainly not allowed during the show because of the noise level, but I don’t see any reasons why toddlers wouldn’t be allowed to the pre-show. In my personal opinion, I’d believe this should be possible, but I’d rather double check with them directly again.

      Enjoy the event!

    • Hi Marno,

I’d believe that babies are not allowed due to the noise level in the arena. The organizers say children from the age of 3 and they should wear noise cancelling devices.
