From 10 to 16 March 2025, SANBI open its door to ALL national botanical and zoological gardens across South Africa and offers free access to its visitors during this time.
Theme: Grow Your Joy
The theme for this year’s celebration is called “Grow Your Joy”. It encourages visitors to connect with nature in ways that promote mindfulness, well-being, and community engagement. Activities such as peaceful walks among indigenous plants, yoga sessions, guided tours, and educational programs are designed to highlight the essential role gardens play in biodiversity conservation and personal wellness.
