Experience the beauty of Cape Town’s Atlantic coastline on a 60 minute Ocean Safari at the V&A Waterfront. You will hop aboard one of their RIBs (Rigid-hulled Inflatable Boats) for an eco-adventure that brings you up close to the incredible marine life that is home to the Atlantic ocean. Experienced skippers will guide you along the coastline while sharing fascinating insights about the ocean and its inhabitants with you. Please note that they only allow children over the age of 13 onboard the speed boat and they must be accompanied by an adult.

An Ocean Safari is the perfect combination of fun and discovery. While you can enjoy an exciting speed ride out of the harbour, the tour turns into a slow marine search for wildlife where each trip offers a unique opportunity to spot a variety of marine creatures. Keep your eyes open for:

Safety First: Guidelines for Adventure Boats
Safety is always a priority. Please review the following guidelines before booking:
- Age & Height Requirements: Guests must be over 13 years old, at least 1.2 meters tall, and able to straddle the onboard seats with both feet on the deck.
- Weight Restrictions:
- Maximum 80kg for front seats
- Maximum 100kg for back seats
- Life Jackets: Available in sizes accommodating chest measurements of 60–125cm.
Medical Considerations
Due to the adventurous nature of the trip, the following conditions may be adversely affected:
- Pregnancy
- High blood pressure
- Heart conditions
- Acute or chronic knee or back injuries
Guests with medical conditions must provide a medical certificate issued within the past 30 days to participate.
