96 Winery Road is a cozy restaurant which is nestled along the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West. It is open seven days a week and guests will be served delectable breakfasts and freshly-brewed coffee in the mornings. For lunch and dinner, they offer a new Small Plates menu, which includes a wide selection of scrumptious new dishes such as pork belly, pepper fillet, fishcakes, panko crumbed prawns, nibbles and delicious desserts.

They also offer a separate kiddies menu to satisfied those tiny taste buds. The little ones can choose from a kiddies burger, fish and chips and pasta.

The outside area includes a lovely lawn area and a playground. The children will find a jungle gym with a slide, swings and climbing features. The lawn is big enough to run around and have some extra fun while the adults are enjoying their dishes.

Inside the restaurant, you will also find a little shop with local jewellery, delicatessen and beautiful crafts. So you can even shop around during your visit and take home a beautiful gift.

In case you enjoy cycling, you can even start a biking tour directly from their parking lot. The mountain bike trail links up with the Wannabee routes in the area and day permits (R100 each) are available for sale at the restaurant for non-members. Any skill levels are welcome and once you’re done, you can relax at the restaurant with some freshly-brewed coffee, refreshments or some sweet treats.
