Bossa Burgundy Estate is a family-friendly restaurant offering good food, a relaxed atmosphere and plenty to keep the kids entertained. It’s a great spot for a laid-back family meal in Burgundy Estate.
Our Take
As you might know, the Bossa Restaurant has quite a few chains across the Cape and you surely find a restaurant near you.
We have never been disappointed in a visit to Bossa and were totally blown away by the fabulous play area in Burgundy Estate. The kids have a huge and safe play area all to themselves while parents, locals and visitors can watch them from the seating area not far away.
The play area is equipped with a huge jungle gym, a little bike track, a giant chess game, balancing boards, a rocking horse and lots of space to run around. There is even a putting park attached to the play area and I guess whoever is keen can go for a lovely round of mini golf.
The restaurant space is quite impressive, too, with lots of seating areas inside and outside.
The menu is the same across all restaurant, so we were already familiar with the choices and it didn’t take us long to find something.
Highlight: They do offer a dedicated kids’ menu and every Wednesday (all day) and Sunday until 4pm, kids under the age of 12 receive a free kiddies meal with each accompanying adult!

The play area at the restaurant is really impressive and the kids were busy the entire time and barely had time to eat their food because they wanted to keep on playing. We also enjoyed it and the food was quite good as usual. The only thing we noticed was the noise level at the restaurant.
Although we were sitting outside, it was quite loud. We haven’t figured out how that is possible in an open space. The other slightly annoying part was the smokers right behind us. Yes, we were outside, so smoking was allowed, but as a non-smoker it can be quite annoying to have that smell around you while eating.
