Cape Point Farm Stall is a great stop when exploring the Cape Peninsula, offering fresh produce, homemade treats and delicious food. It’s a convenient family-friendly place to grab a bite, stock up on snacks and take a break.
Our Take
Cape Point Farm Stall is a magical place close to the beautiful Cape Point Nature Reserve where you will meet many friendly farm animals and lovely people serving delicious coffee and treats. Upon entering, you will be greeted by lovely pigs, happy dogs and quirky goats. Two beautiful white horses and a trio of donkeys are also joining the crowd to make your visit unforgettable.
The animals roam around freely and would love to join you at the table while you enjoy a cool drink and grab a bite to eat. But don’t worry, if the animal residents become too cheeky, you can simply move to the gated seating area and finish your meal in peace.
The little cafe serves anything from hot and cool drinks, delicious quiches, yummy pancakes, toasties, muffins, cakes and scones as well as fresh farm juice and milkshakes. All prices are very affordable and they do have a card machine on site in case you’re not carrying around a lot of cash.
After your quick breakfast or lunch stop, you can explore the farm and stroll around the nature paths. The kids will absolutely love it and discover more animals like lizards or frogs in the woods. They can also ride the donkeys if they are keen for an extra adventure and amazing experience.
Due to the free roaming farm animals, your own furry friends won’t be able to join you on this adventure.

Our kids loved this place from start to finish. They were cuddling all animals, sitting on the donkeys, petting the pigs and goats and had lots of fun with the cheekiness of some of them. The white donkey was pregnant is especially cuddly at the time of our visit. So she was following us around and looking for good back scrubs and little kisses.
All animals were super friendly and tame to the excitement of the kids. We also took a walk along the paths where our son took the lead and enjoyed showing us around and finding new ways along the trees and bushes. It’s a truly unique animal encounter and lovely experience. It’s the perfect stop to grab a cool drink and something small to eat if you’re exploring the area around Cape Point Nature Reserve. We can highly recommend it if you love animals as much as we do.
