Col’Cacchio Meadowridge offers a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience set within a charming leafy courtyard at Meadowridge Park ‘n Shop. Famous for artisanal pizzas, fresh pastas, and custom play-dough kits to keep little hands busy while waiting, it is a go-to spot for stress-free family meals.
Our Take
As many of you know, Col’Cacchio is a nationwide brand with many restaurants in and around Cape Town. We are regular visitors at the Col’Cacchio in Camps Bay for so many reasons, but we can also recommend the one in Meadowridge for a family-friendly meal.
It has a lovely playground right in front of the outside seating area, so that the kids can run around and play while you can always keep an eye on them. The playground is equipped with 2 jungle gyms, swings, slides and climbing walls. It also has a soft ground with fake lawn so that the children don’t hurt themselves.
Of course, they also get the usual Col’Cacchio table entertainment which consists of pizza dough to play with and crayons. So the kids will be super busy at this place while you can enjoy their fabulous pizzas, pastas, salads and other dishes.

We happened to be in Meadowridge by accident on a Tuesday evening and googled for restaurants close-by. We were super delighted when we found the Col’Cacchio with a playground right in front of us. The kids were playing nice at the two jungle gyms and it’s a pretty much quiet outside area. You just need to keep an eye on them in case they run around too wildly as the parking slots are right in front of the play area and you don’t want them to play there.
