We already love Col’Caccio and usually visit their branch in Camps Bay, but this latest addition in Durbanville was exceeding our expectations and it’s a true gem for families.

The menu is the same as with all other Col’Caccio branches and you find a great variety of meat dishes, pizzas, vegetarian options, desserts and much more.

What’s so special about the restaurant in Durbanville is their very generous outside play area, the engaging and friendly child-minders, the cozy outdoor seating space and the amount of kids activities that are offered to the kids during your visit.

The kids receive a fun bucket of crayons and pizza dough to play with. With cookie cutters, the little ones can cut out different shapes and make their very own dessert. The pizza dough will go in the oven, baked to perfection and then sprinkled with caramel sauce for the sweet tooth.

Col’Caccio Durbanville also has its own card game that you can enjoy with the older kids. It works similar to UNO and is a fun way to entertain them at the table. For the more active children, the big play area will be the perfect space to burn off energy. It is eqipped with a wooden jungle gym, lego wall, a ball pit, slide, black board, fireman pole and toys to play with.

As a special highlight, the children can also make and bake their own pizza whenever the kitchen has capacity. They can choose from different toppings, sprinkle the cheese on top and even put it in the pizza oven. It’s a very special experience that the little ones will surely enjoy and make this place even more precious for families.
