If you’re looking for some more privacy and a less crowded beach front than at Camps Bay Beach, visit this little gem secretly tucked away into the corner of Camps Bay. It’s a favourite spot for surfers and its snow-white sand is very inviting for sunbathers and families alike. You can sit down, enjoy the spectacular views of Lion’s Head and seek a little protection from the South Easter wind when it’s blowing. The rocky outcrops serve as a perfect windshield and make it even more picturesque.

Like its bigger brother next door, the beach is in close proximity to trendy bars, restaurants and shops and you will find local vendors selling you some cool drinks and ice-cream right at the beach. So you don’t even have to get up and keep soaking in the sun-rays while enjoying the sound of the ocean, the surfer dudes and beach boys and girls.

The beach strip is much more narrow than the large white sand at Camps Bay Beach. So make sure to get there rather early in order to secure a spot close to the back of the beach. When the tide comes in, it’s getting even narrower and at some point, you will have no choice but moving towards the wall.

You can also bring along your doggie, but at this beach, you will have to keep your furry friend on a leash at all times.
