This one is a bit of a hidden gem, because we discovered it by coincidence. We love plants as much as we do like to go out for a good meal, so this combination was a perfect match for our family since the Good Thyme Café is part of the Stodels facility in Milnerton. We saw that fantastic playground at the back of the area and always wondered how to get there. So while looking for new plant additions to our family, we found this precious little restaurant.

It has a great atmopshere, tasteful decor and absolutely amazing food! This was a real surprise to us and we now often go there for a late breakfast during the weekend (they serve all day breakfast – so that’s absolutely perfect).

And here comes the best part: the outdoor playground which is directly attached to the back of the restaurant. It is absolutely huge and kids of all ages will find something to play with. You’ll find shades areas for climbing, various jungle gyms, swings, slides, play houses, a race track, trampoline and lots of sand to bring along those sand toys.

A little bonus: you’ll have a wonderful view of Table Mountain from the deck and play area which makes it even more worth to pay them a visit!
