Our Take
If you love a good steak and a rustic ambience, the Hickville Smokehouse is the perfect place to be. They source their meat locally and make sure it meets the highest standards to tickle your taste buds. Apple Wood and blue smoke guarantee the perfect combination for texture and taste and you won’t be disappointed by their menu options.
You’ll find anything from tasty burgers, to delicious Ribs and chicken sliders to Tacos, Nachos and Snacks. They also dish up for Vegetarians and the little ones – so really everybody will enjoy their visit and find something yummy on the menu.
In front of the restaurant is a lovely play area with a huge jungle gym, swings and a slide as well as monkey bars and a lovely green lawn to run around if it gets too boring inside.
You can either sit outside on the deck or enjoy your meal in the rustic inside area. The entire restaurant has a very cozy charm and is inviting to people of all ages.

We stopped at the Hickville Smokehouse after our camping trip and a proper meal was much needed! So we were delighted about the food options and enjoyed burgers and tacos during our visit. The kids were playing outside at the playground which is visible from the inside seating area so we could always keep an eye on them. We really enjoyed our meal there and can highly recommend it if you happen to be in Elgin.
