Kids Factory Indoor Playpark in Brackenfell is a fun indoor play centre where kids can climb, slide, explore and burn off plenty of energy. A great option for family fun, birthday parties and rainy-day entertainment.
Our Take
This facility offers young families a quality indoor play park, with jungle gyms, soft contained play structures, slides, and imagination-inspiring play areas for children ages 1 to 10. Although it’s not a huge place, your kids will find everything that’s important to them!
You can bring along your toddlers and drop them off at the cute toddler area where you’ll find play kitchens, a tiny trampoline, a mini soft play structure with slides and climbing areas. There are also a lot of toys to play with and even scooters to cruise around with.
For the bigger kids, they have an amazing jungle gym structure with 4 large slides, a ball pit with a climbing wall, a ninja course and trampolines.
Children are only allowed to play in the specific Kids Factory grip socks. You can buy them for R35 per pair at the entrance.
There are quite a lot of friendly child minders, too. They are called the “Marshalls” and make sure that your kids can play safely and won’t hurt themselves. They are constantly watching out for the little ones, so that the parents can sit back and relax and the seating area right next to the play area. So you can always watch your children play while you have some food and drinks from the kiosk. They have the regular things on the menu and you and your kids can choose from various kiddies meals, pizzas, burgers, schnitzels and toasties.
Hint: Every Friday, they run a Playtime and Burger Special where you get unlimited playtime for R100 per child and a burger with chips and onion rings for only R60 (between 17:00 – 20:00).
When the weather permits, the kids can also play in the generous outside area with swings, a pool and large jungle gym.
Kiddies Birthday Parties
Plan your kiddies birthday party at Kids Factory and choose from 3 different party options. You can enjoy a 2 hour play session and other goodies when you have a minimum of 10 party guests.
You also have the option to add the swimming pool @ R30 per child as an additional extra and some extra fun in summer!
The adults can also enjoy food platters at an extra cost while the little ones are munching on their treats.

Compared to other playparks the facility is rather basic, but non-the-less lots of fun for younger children. My kids prefer that place over Playalot, for example, as it is less crowded, less noisy and just as much fun! There are quite a lot of child minders watching out for the kids and they are really helpful for the little ones. It was a bit cold during out stay (we visited in August) and the food was not great, but OK. Grip socks are compulsory and you can get them for R35 per pair. But the good thing is that you can bring your own grip socks from home and you don’t have to buy their specific ones. You also get free WIFI.
