This indoor play park in Rondebosch is special and cannot really be compared to other play parks in town. You could say it’s more basic, but a fun day is guaranteed as you play in a more homely environment.

The Kids Shack is located in a house and the play areas are designated rooms where the little ones can explore and discover fun things all along. It also features an outdoor play area with jungle gyms, bike and scooter tracks, a zip line and splash play for the hot sunny days. So don’t forget to bring along a suit and towel if you plan playing in the fountains.

The inside space is also nicely equipped and the kids will love running around and exploring the different rooms. They’ll find jungle gyms, climbing facilities, fantasy play areas, soft play and craft areas to become creative.

While the little ones play, the adults can enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee and something yum to eat. There is a small little coffee shop inside and “Annie Pie’s” will keep you covered when you’re hungry and thirsty.

On your first visit, it might be a bit tricky to find as you need to go through a private gate where you also have to sign in as a visitor. From there, you can easily follow the direction to the Kids Shack. The exit is at another gate, so don’t go back the same way. You will find an automated gate where you have to come close enough for the gate to open. On our first visit I was probably standing there for 10 minutes because I was waiting for someone to open it up. As I said, nobody will assist you as the gate opens all by itself.

This is also a fabulous place for a kiddies birthday party and they’ve got lots of options to choose from. All their party options include a 2 hour play and require a minimum of 10 kids.
