Mouille Point Adventure Playground is a fantastic outdoor play area where kids can climb, swing, slide and burn off some energy. With the promenade and ocean right nearby, it’s a great family-friendly stop in Cape Town.
Our Take
Find a little playground gem directly located at the promenade in Mouille Point. Whether you come from a stroll along the water or from a round of mini golf, make sure to stop at the Adventure Playground right next to the light house.
Here your kids can enjoy a huge wooden jungle gym, a smaller jungle gym for the youngster, a carousel, slides, swings, a play dragon and best of all, a little bike track to race around with those scooters, bikes and strollers.
There are plenty of benches all around and parents can enjoy the beautiful view of Lion’s Head and the very close ocean.

Our kids love this playground for so many reasons. The jungle gym is just great to practice those climbing and balancing skills, the slide is high enough to really enjoy it and their favourite: the bike track. We always have to bring the bikes and scooters so that they can go wild on the track. They go around in circles for about 100 times until it’s time for a scoop of ice cream from across the street.
