Picnics

The beautiful setting of the Manor house and the wide open lawn space, make the venue a perfect location for relaxed picnics and family-outings in their lush gardens. Spread a blanket under the shade of towering trees and savor a pre-packed picnic basket filled with delectable treats, while your kids run around and play in a safe, open environment. There are fun lawn games available and even a kiddies picnic basket (cost per child: R140). A picnic basket for 2 adults starts at R700. Of course, they do offer a vegetarian option as well. Manor Restaurant

If you prefer to eat at the historic Manor Restaurant, you can enjoy fabulous breakfast, lunch or dinner with them. They do have extraordinary experiences for children on their menu so that it is a fun experience for the entire family.

The kids menu includes a Cookie Decoration Activity (booking essential), flavoured milk & cookie pairing, the kids picnic or even party boxes in case you’re planning make Nederburg Wines your birthday party venue.

Playground

For active kids, Nederburg has a dedicated play area equipped with swings, slides, and other recreational facilities. This area allows children to burn off some energy while parents can relax nearby, knowing their little ones are safe and having a blast. The play area is huge and offers lots of play opportunities including a zip line and generous jungle gym.

Wine Tasting & Kiddies Pairing

Each week, the team chooses their favourites from the wide range of wines to be featured on the Manor Tasting Board. The selection always includes white, red and sparkling – plus a Manor exclusive surprise. You can choose any five wines for R70. They also offer cute kiddies pairings.
