Perdeberg Cellar offers a diverse range of wines, catering to every palate and occasion. Whether you’re in the mood for a crisp and refreshing white, a bold and robust red, or a sparkling celebration, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Standout wines include the Perdeberg Chenin Blanc, known for its vibrant fruit flavors and crisp acidity, and the Perdeberg Dryland Collection Pinotage, a rich and full-bodied red with layers of complexity.

Wine Tasting

The cellar’s inviting tasting room provides the perfect setting to sample their exceptional wines while taking in sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. Knowledgeable staff are on hand to guide you through the tasting process, sharing insights into the wines and the winemaking journey.

While they offer the standard wine tasting experiences where you can simply taste their wine range, they also do fantastic pairings. So if you are looking for something special, you can try their Candy Floss Pairing or their Marshmallow Pairing (yes, it’s for adults). For the kids, they also have some special on the tasting menu: the little ones can enjoy a kiddies pairing where they receive three delicious cookies with a decorating kit (icing and sprinkles), paired with fruit juices.

The Vineyard Table Restaurant

The Vineyard Table restaurant offers a culinary journey that celebrates the bounty of the region. Helmed by talented chefs who are passionate about showcasing the freshest local ingredients, the restaurant’s menu is a harmonious blend of contemporary flair and traditional flavours. From succulent grilled meats to fresh seafood and vibrant vegetarian options, there’s something to tantalise every taste bud.

While the adults can enjoy their dishes, the children are entertained by a fun garden play area and on weather-permitting weekends, the addition of a jumping castle. The garden features a lovely jungle gym with swings, monkey bars and lots of green grass to play games on. The parents can sit back and relax beneath the trees.

From Wednesday to Sunday (09:00 – 16:00), kiddies can also make their own pizzas! At just R120 per pizza, they get to choose 3 toppings plus cheese. Bookings for this activity are essential and you can either email dine@perdeberg.co.za or call +27 (0)21 020 1626.

Picnics

For those seeking a more relaxed dining experience, Perdeberg Cellar offers the perfect solution with their braai picnic offerings. Settle in amongst the vineyards or find a shady spot beneath a towering oak tree as you indulge in a gourmet picnic basket filled with an array of delectable treats such as lamb chops, boerewors spirals, chicken kebaps, roosterkoeke, Greek salad and dessert.

For children under the age of 12, they offer a kiddies picnic basket.
