The China Town Sable Square Playground in Milnerton is a fun outdoor play area where kids can climb, slide and burn off some energy. It’s a simple, family-friendly stop when exploring the Milnerton area.
Our Take
This is a fun playground in the heart of China Town. It’s surrounded by a lot of “cheap” stores where you can get a real bargain for some items like toys, kitchen ware or other nitty gritty things you might need. To give the kids a break from shopping around and browsing through the different stores, they built a pretty amazing jungle gym in the centre of Sable Square.
Here the kids can climb, slide and explore a huge jungle gym while the parents can take a break on the bench.

When we do a little shopping at China Town, we always stop by at the playground for the kids to have some fun, too! There is a little restaurant right next to it where you could sit down and have a small bite or a cool drink while the kids are playing. I always sneak away and leave my husband with the kids to organise some small treats for birthdays or Christmas.
The jungle gym is quite big and suitable for younger children as well. It’s on a fake grass ground so that they don’t hurt themselves in case they fall and it gives them a nice little break from the shopping experience.
