The Bay Sports Bar & Restaurant in Constantia is a relaxed spot for families to enjoy a meal in a lively sports-bar atmosphere. With a varied menu and casual setting, it’s a convenient choice for a family lunch or dinner.
Our Take
This lovely family spot is located at the False Bay Rugby Club which is in the Constantia Sports Complex. It comes with a fantastic outside seating area overlooking the Rugby field and leading towards a fun playground for the children.
The play area is equipped with a huge wooden jungle gym, balancing beans, swings, a half pipe, monkey bars and more. The kids can have a blast there or even find ample space at the sports field where they can play ball games or run around.
The menu at the Bay consists of salads and starters, pizza, burgers, steaks and ribs and other main dishes. They also offer a kiddies menu.
Dog owners will be happy to hear that their fur babies are welcome, too! So this is really a place for the entire family and you and the kids will have a good time in a relaxed atmosphere.

We came across this lovely restaurant by accident. We saw the play area and were positively surprised to see that it belongs to a very cool restaurant which comes with a beer garden charm. It was lovely to sit outside and the kids had a blast at their playground and the rugby field. There is plenty of space for the kids to move around and keep themselves busy. We ordered pizza and nachos and had a really great lunch on a sunny day. We can definitely recommend the place and will come back for sure.
