This is certainly a location for older kids and their parents, but when your kiddo is into skating, this is the place to go! The SHRED SKATEPARK is a super cool indoor skate park for those who want to learn how to skate and the ones with already existing skills.

They do have a limit of 30 riders per session during the day and a maximum of 40 skaters during the night session. So you should definitely book your dedicated 3 hour session in advance in order to avoid disappointment. Their pricing system is quite complex and full of different options, so you should definitely check out their website to find your preferred slot.

Depending on which day you visit them and how long you’re planning to stay, the prices vary from R40 to R99 for a 3 hour session, R90 to R160 for a Double Session and R120 to R200 for a Full Day. Find the comprehensive prices here: PRICES

Skate Lessons

If you want to learn how to skate or simply improve your skills, you can book a personal 1on1 session with an experienced skater who will show you all the amazing tricks and basics necessary for a great session. For the lessons, all ages and skill levels are welcome and all equipment is already included in the price (skateboards, helmets, pads). If you want to share the learning experience with your peers, you can also book a lesson for up to three people at a time.

The advantage: you can learn in a safe environment that is sheltered from all weather conditions and which also provides public liability insurance. The prices of a 1 hour lesson are as follows:

1 person: R380 per 1 hour lesson
2 people: R580 per 1 hour lesson
3 people: R780 per 1 hour lesson

Eiland Eatery and Coffee Shop

For those who need a little break and grab something to eat during the session, the Eiland Eatery offers delicious treats. You can sit down and relax in the cozy little restaurant and enjoy anything from breakfast, burgers, pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, toasties and salad bowls.
