At this venue, you literally eat your meal under big, green oak trees that spend much needed shade in summer and give the place an oddly European touch that is really enjoyable.

The pizzeria is absolutely fabulous and you can enjoy exquisite wood-fired pizza, pasta, salads or pita. As I said, it’s like little Italy in the heart of Paarl and surely a place you will remember. Kids are more than welcome, too!

They can either play at the green lawn right in front of the pizzeria or go wild on the jungle gym a bit further away. They also serve yummy kiddies meals and ice cream. The deserts are not on the menu, but they are there – you’ll just have to ask for them.

Since it’s a small and homely restaurant, you should rather make a booking before you pay them a visit. It happened to us before that we went without a reservation and there was no space available for us. We’ve learned our lesson and from now on always make a call before we go there.

From Tuesday to Sunday 09:00 – 16:00 you can also taste their own boutique wine range. They also export their wines to selected European countries like Switzerland, Germany and Lichtenstein. Good to know in case you’d like to take a taste of Africa home with you.

Important: Since the farm has its own animals wandering around, there are no dogs allowed, unfortunately.
