This is a neat and fenced little park in Oranjezicht right at the foot of iconic Table Mountain. You will find big, green lawns, lots of huge trees that offer shade on hot summer days and a gym and play area for the little ones.

The playground is equipped with a Mary-go-round, a couple of swings, a huge slide and a see-saw. Large tree trunks and plenty of space to run around are very inviting, too, and the kids can go on a little adventure and explore the park.

The gym circuit for the grown-ups is also nicely equipped and you can enjoy your sportive activities with fabulous mountain views and suck in some fresh air.

If you’re a coffee lover and like to escape the office for a while, you can also stop by at Bliss Foodtruck! They not only offer delicious coffee and yummy breakfast, but also FREE Wifi for those who bring out their laptops and picnic blankets to work in the park. Every Saturday from 08:00 – 14:00, there is also a small market. It’s called the “Mountain Market” where the community offers authentic food, organic fruit and vegetables, clothing and accessories. Some local acts perform live music and when you come with a picnic blanket or some chairs, you can enjoy a relaxed morning with the entire family in these beautiful surroundings.

Doggies are welcome as well and they can run around off the leash.
