The highlight is the brand-new play area for kids of all ages. It truly is more like an adventure playground with lots of fun features and equipment. Besides a fun jungle gym, the little ones will find trampolines, rocking horses, bouncy bubbles, swings and a water play area to cool off on those super hot days. So make sure to bring along a set of change clothes in case your kiddos love to play with water! The playground is conveniently located right next to the Tree Bar where you can always keep an eye on them.

The Vondeling Tasting Bar

Between 10:00 to 18:00, you can indulge in a wine tasting session. Vrymansfontein offers a variety of wines, from crisp whites to robust reds, ensuring there’s something for every palate. The Vondeling Tasting Bar provides a modern and innovative wine tasting opportunity. Here, guests can sample any Vondeling wine. Alongside a knowledgeable presentation of Vondeling Wines, the Tasting Bar also offers the option to buy wines by the case at special cellar door prices, perfect for savouring later at home.

Picture delectable Lebanese-style mezze, enticing finger foods, and invigorating, zest-infused salads. The Shed is a new addition to Vrymansfontein and ideal for a more casual dining experience where kids are welcome and have direct access to the amazing play area and lush green lawn. The Shed serves gourmet pizzas straight from the woodfired oven and on weekends you can also order their Beef Burger Special or Braai Platter to share. They also have a kiddies menu with basic pizzas, chicken pops or chips.
