The previous Freedom market has been transformed into this amazing play park for kids of all ages while the outdoor area kept its original market charm with live music, an Eatery and Bar as well as plenty of seating space for young and old. Attractions at Playrock Adventure Park
Playrock is not only an indoor adventure park, but also offers fun outdoor entertainment options. So it’s the perfect destination for families that like to do both and combine play time and market vibes in one place.
Indoor Playpark & Trampoline Zone
Indoors, kids can explore a multi-level play area complete with slides, obstacles, and a trampoline zone that’s perfect for burning off energy. The maze features some truly unique features where the little ones can climb, crawl and navigate through fun obstacles, enjoy the ball pit or explore the different slides and even a zip line. There is also a save space for toddlers where they can become creative with soft building blocks and educational toys.
The trampoline area consists of a dedicated dodge ball court, reaction gaming, tumble lanes, an open jump area and mini basketball.
Safety is a priority, with padded areas, dedicated supervisors, and required grip socks. The air conditioning throughout the indoor space ensures that the little ones stay cool during their play time and even enjoy the action on super hot days.
Grip socks are mandatory, but you can bring along any brand if you’ve got some at home or purchase the Playrock Grip Socks on the day of your visit. They cost R40 per pair.
Mini-Golf Course
Playrock’s putt putt course brings a space-themed twist, offering challenges that both kids and adults will enjoy. The 18 hole mini-golf course is completely new at the venue and a fantastic addition that promises even more family fun. Whether you’re a putt-putt pro or just have fun levelling up your skills – a round of mini-golf is always great fun and you and the kids will surely enjoy the experience. A game is R60 per player on off-peak days and R80 on weekends. All equipment is included.
Outdoor Mini Soccer Pitch
Families can bring out their inner sports stars on the mini soccer pitch, ideal for a quick, friendly game. This is a free activity and can be enjoyed by anyone visiting the restaurant. The kids will also find a small jungle gym on the lawn to add even more fun to the different play options.
The Eatery & Bar
While the kids play, adults can relax at the restaurant and bar, where the menu includes snacks, meals, and refreshments designed for all ages. The menu consists of delicious pizza choices, burgers, salads and sandwiches as well as a dedicated kiddies menu. For the sweet tooth, the Eatery also serves up ice cream, sweet treats, slushies and dessert options. Playrock is a perfect party spot for the youngsters with party packages that include access to play areas, a private party room, food, and more. They offer peak-time and off-peak packages with a minimum number of 10 party guests. Their party package includes:

Our Experience
We recently visited Playrock Adventure Park in Paarl, and it’s hands down one of the best family spots in Paarl! The kids had a blast bouncing on the trampolines and exploring the multi-level play park, while we enjoyed a delicious meal in the comfortable restaurant area. The mini-golf course was a huge hit with everyone, and the space theme made it extra fun. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure the play areas were safe and clean. It’s the perfect place for both relaxation and action, with something to keep everyone entertained. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun day out! And what we appreciated the most: playtime is unlimited, so you can stay (and play) for as long as you like and make it a fun day outing which is great for the entire family.
