Prom Park / Mouille Point

Prom Park is a wonderful addition to Mouille Point and conveniently located between the Putt Putt Course and Blue Train Park along the Sea Point promenade. It’s a little oasis in the city and a great stop over for young and old. You can enter through the main gate on the main road or slip through a gate directly at the promenade. In both cases, giant ice cream cones will lead you the way in and you cannot miss it.

Inside the park, you can expect some tropical feelings with giant bird nests that the children can climb, big wooden tables and a generous seating area overlooking the ocean. There are several food stalls for the hungry ones and you can grab something to bite or drink while you rest at this amazing tranquil spot.

You’ll find delicious bagels, extravagant ice cream choices, hot dogs, coffee and cool drinks all in one spot. Your furry friends are more than welcome, too, and can cool off in the shade and even find a water station.

It’s a very cute space at the promenade and well worth a little stop over. You can also rent bikes at the main entrance and explore the city on two wheels. Entrance is 100% free.
