Roar Around has opened its doors in Somerset Crossing, bringing another exciting indoor play destination for families. This play park blends imaginative play, active fun, and relaxed comfort for parents.
Roar Around is designed for children ranging from babies to young teens. Multiple play zones cater to different age groups, from toddlers aged 6 months to older children up to 16 years, each offering age-appropriate activities, sensory play and physical challenges.
The park features exciting attractions including slides, obstacle elements, soft-play areas and even a large maze-style course with fun features like a small zip line — all encouraging active exploration and playful confidence. Parents can join in the fun or watch comfortably from the dedicated lounge area.
Family-Friendly Design (and Coffee)
While kids are busy exploring, adults can grab a bite from the snack bar. The lounge space offers fresh coffee, cold drinks and light bites — perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends while little ones play.
Safety and comfort are priorities throughout the facility. All children using the play equipment are required to wear grip socks, available for purchase on-site (R45 per pair), which helps ensure a clean, secure play environment.
Play Sessions & Bookings
Play sessions run hourly throughout the day, and families can choose between 1-hour or 2-hour time slots. You can book online in advance or walk in and secure a spot on arrival — though first-time visitors must complete an online waiver before play begins. Roar Around is not a drop-off facility: one adult must remain onsite with the children at all times.

I was here yesterday, had an amazing time!
But was a bit displeased with how the management treated one of their staff infront of the customers.
Nonetheless I had fun and I’m back again today. If anything a bit of improvement on how you treat your staff!
