A dirt road will lead you to this tranquil and charming brewery in Durbanville which serves amazing pizzas, delicious home-brewed beers and offers a family friendly environment.

Starke Brews is certainly worth a visit with your kids as they will find a huge playground area with lots of green grass, a jungly gym, slides and a huge sandpit. So you can even bring along your sand toys for maximum fun.

The long wooden tables are very inviting and it’s pretty much a beer garden atmosphere. You’ll sit under huge old trees, umbrellas offer some extra shade and everything is pretty relaxed and calm.

At the self-service bar you can order drinks of all sorts, wood-fired pizzas as well as ice cream tubes for the little ones. You can even treat yourself to a neat beer tasting with five different beers on the fly.

Our Experience

This is a perfect place for a relaxed afternoon with friends and family. You can enjoy your drinks and good pizzas while the kids can go wild on the playground. There is lots of space to run around, the friendly farm dog comes by for some cuddles and you can relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.
