The President Hotel / Bantry Bay

As a highlight for the kids, The President Hotel offers fun pizza-making activities every Friday between 5pm and 8pm. The kids get to make their own pizza (either directly at the table or close-by the pizza oven) with a cute chef apron and hat and lots of different toppings to choose from. The best part: pizza making and eating is for FREE as long as the parents order a meal from the menu.

Highlight: In summer, it is also possible to make use of their fabulous outdoor infinity pool and play area as a day visitor. They offer a R300 voucher per person that includes the pool use (R100) and a R200 voucher for food and drinks during your visit. So even if you’re not a booked hotel guest, you are allowed to make use of their luxurious facilities and enjoy the Cape Town summer vibes.

Our Experience

We visited The President Hotel on a Friday evening to experience the pizza-making activity with the kids. It was a bit chilly outside, so the kids were able to make their own pizza at the table and we were surprised by the many different topics that were part of the experience. They rreally enjoyed it and obviously were very proud of the result. The kiddies pizza was absolutely delicious and the best part for us parents: the children ate for free because we both ordered a meal from the menu. So it was not only a very affordable outing as a family, but also lots of fun for the children.
