The Lawns at the Roundhouse / Camps Bay

The Lawns literally offers what the name suggests: green lawns, plenty of space, a fantastic mountain view and a perfect spot for sundowner drinks. Truth to be told, this restaurant is slightly more expensive than other places in Cape Town. But the location and view probably justify the higher prices and your kids will have fun, too! In summer, you’ll always find a massive jumping castle on the lawn along with a jungle gym and swings. They’ve added a fun ball pit, ice cream station, as well as popcorn and candy floss to keep the little ones happy.

Our Experience

We love this place in town and we always take our guests there to enjoy the mountain view, good Cape Town vibes and delicious food. Our kids are all over the jumping castle and busy running up and down the hill. The newest addition on the lower lawn are a huge hit with the kids and now they get some sweet treats as well. This means pure happiness for the children.
