This is not only fun for the parents, but might be an interesting activity for the older kids as well. This is not a regular cinema, but an old-school drive in cinema! Enjoy a great movie right from the comfort and safety of your car and munch away some popcorn, snacks and other goodies with up to 5 people in one car.
The drive-in operates twice a month and has space for 50 cars. Every last Friday and Saturday of the month, ever changing movies are projected onto a permanent, solid nine metre screen and film sound is shared into cars via an FM transmitter. The movies usually cater for families as well and it’s definitely worth checking their movie schedule on a regular basis.
At the venue itself, you’ll find various food trucks which serve delicious burgers, Mexican curry, coffee, popcorn, sweets and cool drinks. The food trucks also operate daily from 09:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Saturday and not only on movie nights!
The gates for the drive-in open at 18:00 and the movie starts as soon as it’s dark. In case you don’t have a car radio, you can still come along! FM Radios can be hired at the venue. When you arrive early, you can still play a round of pool or simply enjoy the vibes. It’s gonna be fun for the entire family.

Our Experience
We haven’t visited the Drive-In with our kids yet, but it’s a fun night out even with some friends or your hubby while the kids stay at home. You should definitely bring the older ones along as it is a unique and fun way to watch a movie. Like in the old days…
