The Blue Water Cafe is housed in an original Cape Dutch Farmstead at Imhoff Farm and a Must-Visit when you happen to be there. Most kids will be fascinated by the old carriage right in front of the entrance and climb the old wooden carrier for fun.
Inside the restaurant a fantastic atmosphere is awaiting you and your family and you can move right out into the garden where you’ll find a spectacular play area, green lawns and fabulous views.
The jungle gym is equipped with swings, a huge slide and an interesting climbing structure that kids are naturally drawn to. While the children are playing safely at the play area not far away from the outside seating or running around on the big lawn, you can sit down and take a look at the delicious menu. The pizza menu is simply fantastic and you can even have them delivered seven days a week from 12:00 – 20:00. But of course, it’s even more enjoyable to eat in-house and enjoy a good glass of wine or a freshly poured Lakeside Brewery beer.

Our Experience
We were absolutely surprised by the amazing views in the garden, the delicious food and fantastic play area for the kids. There are green lawns for the kids to run around, the animal feeding farm is just next door and the jungle gym is spectacular. The highlight for us was the food though. The pizza variety is great and the portions are more than generous.
We will definitely come back with friends and family and visitors to show them this little gem of a restaurant with lovely views of the mountain range and Long Beach.
