Lever Street Park / Kalk Bay

If you happen to be around in Kalk Bay with the kids, take a little break at Lever Street Park and eat some ice cream while the kids can explore the playground. The little park is just located one street behind the Main Road (Rouxville Rd) and not far away from the “The Ice Cafe”.

The community cares for the park and it is a lovely, clean and inviting spot for kids and dog owners. The lawn is spotless and there are quite a few things to play with for the kids.

They will find a super high slide, swings, a mary-go-round, jungle gym and see-saw. Our son loves to roll down the hill while our daughter explores the space with her little bike.

If you’re taking your furry friend along make sure to clean up after No.2. There are free dog poo bags (and some hot coffee) available at Bob’s Bagel Cafe in case you forgot your own.

Otherwise, you can sit back and relax underneath the big tree which provides shade in summer and maybe enjoy a picnic or snacks while looking over the Atlantic Ocean.

Our Experience

Whenever we are in Kalk Bay we stop by at Lever Park and let the kids have some fun. They really enjoy the playground and it’s one of their favourites. You must ask them why 😂
