Mykonos Taverna offers an authentic Greek dining experience that will transport your taste buds straight to the Mediterranean. And the best thing: they have a much needed kiddies corner right inside the restaurant which makes it the perfect destination for those colder Cape Town days. But of course, you gonna enjoy the cuisine just as much during summer time and I forgot how much I actually love Greek food.

The Menu

They do have a separate kiddies menu as well with the classic chicken strips and chips, chicken kebap, calamari and even a Mini Mezze platter. So cute.

The Kids Corner

The best part for families is the lovely kids corner inside the restaurant. The children have lots of space to explore the toys and activities and they can choose from building blocks, drawing on a chalk board, preparing food in the play kitchen, wooden cars, and more toys. It’s a really cute corner especially for younger children and you can always keep an eye on them while enjoying your drinks and food.

Our Experience

I’m so happy we discovered this place as I’m absolutely in love with Greek food and it’s so hard to find a restaurant in town with an indoor play area. So this is on our save list for colder days and our kids absolutely enjoyed playing there.
