If you want to travel back in time and dig up some of your own childhood memories, a trip to Simon’s Town Warrior Toy Museum and Shop is a Must-Do on your bucket list. The Museum boasts a permanent display of over 4,000 model cars as well as a diverse collection of more than 500 dolls and teddy bears. You’ll also find vintage games, dinky toys, two fully operational railroads and much more!
Whether you are looking for a lovely add-on to your own collection or simply enjoy toy cars and vintage items, you won’t be disappointed. All of the items are not only on display, but also for sale and especially the young ones will surely want to take home a souvenir for their own toy rack.
The admission fee for this timeless exhibition is R10 per person (in 2024).
Our Experience
The kids were completely in awe when we stepped into the Toy Museum as the space is packed with model cars and all sorts of vintage toys from another world. It feels like travelling back in time to your own childhood where you remember certain cartoon characters or toys that were part of your own playroom back in the days. It’s really an astonishing place and a nice stop when you happen to be in Simon’s Town or are looking for a special collector’s item.
