There are quite a few wine farms that offer special kiddies tastings on their regular tasting menu. So we have compiled a list of our favourite spots that we have tried out so far.
1. Rickety Bridge in Franschhoek

2. Bellevue Wine Estate in Stellenbosch

3. Koelenhof Wine Cellar in Stellenbosch
At the Koelenhof Wine Celler, the KOEL kiddos can expect a very generous tasting with 4 different juices paired with 4 delicious savoury and sweet treats. Cost: R60. Read more: KOELENHOF

4. Bloemendal Wine Estate in Durbanville
The Wine Tasting Room at Bloemendal offers an ice cream tasting with smarties to put on top and a fruit juice. They can even choose a flavour! Cost: R55. Find out more: BLOEMENDAL

5. Le Pommier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch
At Le Pommier, the kiddos taste 4 different milkshakes paired with the most delicious sweet treats accompanying the tasting. Alternatively, they can also choose a more hearty tasting option with 4 juices and mini pizzas. Cost: R99. Read more: LE POMMIER

6. Neethlingshof Wine Estate in Stellenbosch

8. Nitida Wine Farm in Durbanville
At the Wine Cellar at Nitida, the children will feel like little scientists! They can mix their own strawberry milk, taste different juices and get LOTS of sweet treats. Cost: R80. Read more: NITIDA

9. Skilpadvlei Wine Estate in Stellenbosch

11. Spice Route Destination in Paarl
The kiddos can expect a lovely treat at La Grapperia Pizza & Bistro as part of the wonderful Spice Route Destination experience. 12. Clos Malverne in Stellenbosch
If you prefer a mix between a hearty meal and a small sweet treat, the kiddies tasting option at Clos Malverne will be perfect for your little ones! Here, they get to taste 3 different drinks (creme soda, apple juice and strawberry milk) combined with a macaroni cheese ball, a small chicken burger and a cute cupcake as dessert. Cost: R75. 14. Simonsvlei Wines in Paarl
At Simonsvlei, children have the options of two different grape juice pairings. They can either go for their Frozen Delight Pairing or Sweet & Salty Tasting. The Frozen Delight comes with refreshing grape juice, creamy ice cream, and the joy of chocolate-dipped ice cream popsicles while the second option includes grape juice, crunchy biscuits, flavourful droewors (dried sausage), and irresistible sweet treats.
